Extension

This policy applies to the Chrome extension named Ahara Aug Sept Helper.

Data Used

The extension may read selected form values on supported Ahara portal pages, such as ration card number, card type, district, taluk, and member selection, so it can reuse those values during the Aug-Sept double month workflow.

The extension may request a local device ID from a service running on the user's own computer at localhost for license verification.

Storage

Workflow data and license status are stored locally in the user's browser using local storage or session storage. This data is used only to operate the extension's helper workflow.

Network Requests

The extension contacts the Ahara portal pages where it runs, a local device service at localhost, and a Google Apps Script license-check endpoint. The license check may include the local device ID.

Data Sharing

The extension does not sell user data. The extension does not use user data for advertising. Data is shared only as needed for license verification and the user-requested workflow.
